Default Coil pack question

Hi i have a 1996 wrx import and was thinking of checking my coil packs to make sure that there are no cracks or splits in them. Once removed is there a way of removing the rubbers to check the integrity of the inside as well as visually checking the outside of the rubber?

You just pull the rubber tops off
