I've not long brought my first scoob it's a 94 import impreza classic wrx and I thought i'd have a look at the ecu today on first inspection on the outside it has a sticker on it saying Zero/sports racing development . I took the cover off the ecu and from what I already know there should be a space for a chip to fit into but mine does'nt it has a chip with a part number on it (U8HPAPCA) I don't know if this means anything to you or not but any help would be great i'll try to get some pics of it up tomorow if I can

 

Zerosports are a Japanese based Subaru only tuning company,have the car checked out on a rolling road to see what has been done to the fuelling and boost as it may very well be mapped for 100RON fuel and some tuners in japan are known to map cars with aggresive fuel/boost maps.
