need to replace front drive shaft so is this correct jack front end then wheel off.hub nut off ,drop bottom ball joint/trackrod end .then pull hub/strut from cv shaft .then pull out of gearbox is this right ?

 

yeah just make sure you knock the roll pin out from the drive shaft stub, if you have that type fitted.

 

Gutted just taken drive shaft off, mine has abs hub type the one ive bought has abs ring teeth on the cv joint ,but every thing is the same ,splines / length of shaft ,just the abs teeth on the new cv joint ,does anyone know would this fit my abs hub and be ok to drive ?

 

Can you not split the shaft at the CV joint and have the 2 halves you need?
