Is the STI 6 box the same as the type r gearbox?

I'm not 100% sure Jamie but i think the STi box has a slighty longer gearing than the Type R. I think the STi RA box is similar/same to the RA box.

I'm sure someone will be along soon to clarify the situation for you.
