Ok, bit annoyed here.
Bought a damaged engine from a guy on Ebay (parts_crazy) for the heads to fix my Wrx.
He is not willing to do a refund, so Im going to have to take it as this, and sell the engine on as ive no use for it as im not stripping it down.

It was taken from a 1997 STi RA.
The block is useless as the bell housing where the gearbox attaches is damaged.
The left hand lower cam has been removed due to a front end collision and has also damaged the cam guide slot bit, thus making the left hand head useless.

As to the rest of the engine, I cannot say.
I was only after the two heads, and was told they were fine. So no use to me only having one head.

Im selling it as it stands now.
Im sure maybe someone that knows what they are doing could utilise the other parts like the pistons, crank etc...

i paid £150, so All I want is my money back, or as close, as I need a new engine.

Trying to be as honest as possible as dont want someone else to go through what I just have.
Now just to keep looking for a new engine or heads.

Not taking the **** at all.
Ive just had a bloke offer me almost the same and he said he will be down the weekend to have a look.

Ill let you know what happens, but if he doesnt, then your more than welcome to it.

Shame it costs £70 odd quid to take him to the small claims court.

 

Engine is now sold to a nice chap called Brett.
