Default What model year????

I have seen this for sale as a MY 1998 I think im right in saying it would be
V3/4. Having checked the code it say's it's a 1999 Uk box can someone confirm this for me? TY754VN1AA

I have removed a broken P1 box from my car and have been told any V5/6 box will fit as a temp replacement until I can get the P1 box rebuilt! but this will be no good if it's a 1998 box!

That won't work into a P1 as the P1 uses an STi 5 type of box - P1 code is VBAAA. P1 is on 4.4 diffs and uk is on 3.9 & 3.5.

VN means that it is a UK car box [ it is a 99 as you hoped ] but it won't fit the P1 without changing the rear diff too.

Probably a step & cost too far for you.

You need a TY754 VBAAA. Nowt else will do.

Good Luck David

PS Let me know what is wrong with the P1 box and l'll quote you a repair cost.
