It's pretty much in the title really... I was thinking of changing my exhaust system of my 95 Jap import WRX because at the moment it has a Fujitsumo exhaust system with a Jasma muffler... However this does not give me the growl I'm looking for. This exhaust systems adds about 20bhp and I'm wondering is it worth changing it???

Please advise

Cool

If its not giving you the 'growl' you are after then the chances are it is quite restictive. JASMA-Japanese Auto Sports Muffler Association is just a standards stamp. Alot of boxes that conform tend to be large and restictive and you should notice a small gain with a Scoobysport or similar bb, and you'll gain that growl you're after

I'm told a full decat down pipe & system is worth up to 20 Bhp compared to a standard system.
