Default Exedy paddle clutch ?

Just wondered if anyone is using one of the exedy paddle clutches,i have seen these for £370 ish,but are they any good?,i am currently using an exedy stage 1 organic clutch (pink box) car is arround 360 bhp est ,and it is just dog doo doo, starts to smell at the slightest bit of stress and just feels crap,i did take it on the strip last weekend 3 runs and dont think it will complete another launch,so will the exedy paddle clutch be the better option?

A decent paddle clutch can take lots of abuse.

The Exedy paddle clutch iirc only has 3 paddles. We stock a 6 paddle clutch for £395 which is offered as an alternative to twin plates and is rated far higher than the Exedy.

The downside of paddle clutches is that they can be harsh for engagement and feel a little on/off.

PM me for more details.

Be wary of ebay 'Exedy' Clutches...

I think i may have a paddle clutch on my import wrx as it feels on/off on engagement as you say but am not sure. Also has a paddle clutch got a higher biting point than normal clutches?
