V3 and V5 Input shaft compatible?

V3 and V5 Input shaft compatible?

Does a V3/4 STI 4.44 inputshaft and crownwheel fit a V5/6 STI gearbox?
The ratio is the same of course!
It´s interesting if the synchros will fit between these boxes as well as if the cogs are!
Please let me know!

believe the pinion shaft and c/wheel are interchangeable but not sure of the synchro issue............

Maybe someone can compare the numbers from Subaru, as we do not have them in Austria!
