Tein coilovers swap with sti /P1 suspension (my99)
Hi people
Just seeing what response i have ........
I recently bought a 2nd hand set of tein coilovers, they have height adjustment but no damper adjustment and have pillowball mounts.
I dont know the exact model ?
The mrs drives the car to work most days and is complaining about the bumpy ride, so i may consider swapping them with sti / P1 shocks & springs (slightly lower than standard ride height)
Its a shame because it has made so much ofa difference to handling!
To be honest, there is a bit of knocking from the back at low speed, but i have heard that this could be the top mounts ?
Only prob is that the suspension is still on my car and i will need other suspension b4 i can take existing off, if that makes sense !!
They are fitted to MY99 UK spec scooby and i live in Oxfordshire, we could swap the suspension round at my house
