classic sti lowering options
i would like to lower my sti my00 a bit , i dont want to go to the expense of coil overs so is there any good springs that wouldn't be a step back from the oe sti ones,
i have heard about the type r eibach ones but iirc they are only about 10mm lower and prodrive dont do any for a classic
about 25mm lower would be nice

The STi is about 25mm lower than a WRX/UK car to start with which is why the Eibachs will not do anymore.
Your only option (AFAIK) is the Whiteline "flatout" springs which are 40mm lower than satndard so will be about a further 15mm lower than you have now. When you fit them don't expect instant results though, your original springs have now sunk a bit and the new ones will probably not make much of a difference until they have settled after 1-2k miles.

nice cars there mate, what size are the wheels ?
if it isn't too much hassle could you measure the distance from the centre of the wheel to the wheel arch?
