Default Geometry alignment pre or post new tyres?

I'm getting some new tyres fitted Thursday morning

I also need my alignment sorting out. The tyres currently fitted are not excessively worn but are absolutely pants in the rain. No doubt a decent geo set up will alleviate a lot of the problems but I was wondering if it was worthwhile getting the setup done now or after the new tyres are fitted?

Any suggestions or thoughts?

IMHO not a blind bit of difference if they are the same size, inflated correctly and in good condition.

Thanking you

Hopefully though, my whiteline kit will be arriving soonish, so will be able to fit asap and get it all aligned soon after the new tyres are fitted

New tyres only work when given a good scrubbing, about 250 road miles.

Yep, aware of that Graham, I found the GSD-3's were particularly susceptible to being **** prior to getting a few miles on them.

As long as everything is on and set up, then I know it's only the tyres 'waking up' or me being crap

Cheers for the previous advice, I've managed to sources some second hand bits of whiteline kit that should suffice, at least until funds allow an upgrade on the rear bar should I think it's warranted.
