You have to when you can't fit 2 thicknesses of wrap between the two pipes, otherwise best do each pipe until then.

i have wrapted my gt-spec headers once so far, but the wrap has come apart in a few places after a week. i used stainless steel locking wire every 2/3 inch. i wrapted each tube as far as i could.

not sure why it has come apart, it looks as if the headers have expanded so much that the wrap could not strech as much and rips.

so i was not sure if it would be better if i wrapted them both together
