When i was on a private race track today and put my foot down there was a really loud buzzing noise can i turn this off??


Its when i go over a certain speed not revs???

 

Can anybody help i have searched but there is about ten different threads all giving different answers.

When im going over 125 mph there is a loud buzzing sound coming form the drivers side ( seams to be the air con vent)

 

sometimes the drivers door mirror buzzes but it is more likely to be your bum with fear lol

 

I have the same car as yours (but an 04). I also get the buzzing sound, shortly before a high pitched whisle. I found out it was air forcing through the door rubber, I gaffa taped where the window meets the body and climbed in though the passenger side, during that run the whisle had stopped. I think the framless window design doesn't help matters.

 

I get something similar just before going to warp speed.

 

This is a well known problem with New Age cars in Germany! Whistling noise at high speeds on the autobahn! I had it in my 03 STi. The dealer just re-glued the door seals and everything was fine!
