i'm taking delivery of her next week as my plate is still being transferred with the lovely dvla. Can't wait to get her now.
1 thing i am interested to find out is re. exhausts systems. i had allready made my mind up before starting her up that i was having her and i was a bit disappointed that she didn't sound as beefy as i thought she would. How much would it cost to get a decent sounding system. don't be too technical, i'm a girl!! (no offence to fellow girl scooby owners).

Just had Exhaust finnished on my WRX, In total that was £1260.00, souunds well.
Depends on your Budget, you can get nice sounding back boxes for about £200.00
Or you can go from cat back system for about £300.00
Cat back will remove two of the silencers
If you can get to a scooby show some time you will pick up a second hand 1 up for about £100.00 to £150.00.
As far as power gains not sure on yours, don't think it will be too much without the turbo
Good look and happy scoobing.

Welcome to the mad house
Depending on what you want and whether you want brand new or second hand/nearly new you can pick up some bargains. I bought for my old classic a Milltek stainless back box with 4 1/2 exit for £30. It was in excellent condition and made the car sound much better I don't know whether it would be worth you going for a full de-cat system tbh, as you are minus one important item to free up some bhp!
Just keep your eyes peeled on here and look around elsewhere, there about at a good price. Just ask for info on something that might take your fancy though

Enjoy posting

Yeah the backbox will change the sound of it depending on what one you go for. Good luck and happy driving.
