hope someon can put my mind at rest.

today i had a Sti 3 tmic fitted to replace my wrx slanty, all the correct samco hoses have been used ,but know when i put it on boost i can hear the turbo spool up real loud at about 3000rpm.

is this normal for a td05, or is it because its shifting more air?

nothing else changed apart from tmic?

have a check for boost leaks around pipework apart from that not much else can be suggested without seeing/hearing the problem.
must say though my td05 can be heard spooling up a lot more than the old tdo4.
as you say it could be increased air flow through tmic makes it sound louder.
