Don't think many would go to that. You'll end up getting followed home then getting your Scoob nicked. No offence to locals, but Glasgow seems to be in the middle of a car nicking spree.

Harsh words indeed
There is a Gla meet on the first Thurs of the month at the Harvester Pub/Grill in the Hillington Ind Est. Usually get about a dozen or so regulers through the winter months and more than that for the Summer runs. The BBQ up at "The Rest" is a particular highlight of the year, esp when Jimser starts the BBQ by using some left over Methanol. Santa Cruise at Christmas generated £2000 for Yorkhill Hospital to help out the kids stuck in there over Xmas.
So to answer the original posters question, the Gla meets do exist and they are a great laugh. Please come along, enjoy the banter and enjoy tales of Goat Herding and Yodeling
To avoid people following you home to nick your car please drive faster than 20mph and if you spot someone following you home, swing by the local cop shop first

Cars get stolen all the time from every town and city in the country. What makes you think Glasgow is so special?
