is there any difference between the top mount sti intercooler and the wrx 1 ?

 

Sti version is a lot bigger,esp newage versions onwards.

The STI one is good for up to 400 bhp....

The WRX one is o.k. but loads of cheap front mounts are available in the group buys section now. Depends how far you go with the mods.
Up to 350 bhp I'd suggest STI, above that FMIC.
