Default does anyone know were the air temp sensor is

i have a 1998 impreza wagon 2.0 sport and i need to find out were my air temp sensor is. can anyone give me a pic were it is or tell me thanx

if you mean intake air temp then it is part of the mass air flow sensor,which is between air box and throttle body.

if you mean ambient air temp sensor for interior gauge then it is behind lower grill in front of radiator (well it is on my 2004 anyway) so i would guess a classic aint much different

AFAIK you don't have one. Early classics didn't have them at all unless they were STIs. But if you do, then it will be in the black plastic inlet trunking just in front of your airbox. It'll just be pushed into a small hole in the plastic.
