hey i really need some1's help, i'v got a 1999 impreza sport(had 2 get rid of wrx mrs had twins!!) when i put my foot down the rev's dont seem to want 2 pick up straight away. n e thoughts would be grately appreciated.. its ok just driving normally, but if i sit around 2500-3000 rpm and put the foot down car hesitates before picking up.

 

If i were you i would check the oil level first, have you noticed if the engine is burning oil at all. Also take it to a specialist subaru mechanic or dealer, also somebody here might know a mechanic where you live. I don't know if it needs a service but that is what the car might need to have.

 

Unless you have got cats in your exhaust, that might be blocked. If my memory serves me David at API works on scooby engines, he might figure it out for ya ( he is on here in the drivetrain section ).
