Hello,

I finally picked up my Impreza wagon smile.gif It is awesome.

I've got a warranty with it, but only noticed this problem halfway home from collecting the car.

When changing to 4th gear, if the revs are above 3-4k in 3rd gear, and i change to 4th the box makes a noise like i haven't dipped the clutch. Think 'eeeeeeeeeeeeeeggghhhhh'.

Is this gonna be something that i need a new gearbox for? If i change gear slowly, then it's fine. It's just dumping it into 4th that makes it cry.

Like i said, it's under warranty so i will get it fixed, just thought i'd ask here, in case it could be a simple fix....
