Default Classic 95 WRX import (gearbox,Clutch,Oil Leak, Shocks etc)

Does anyone want to donate me £1000
well thought id ask

god dam i thought tuning was supposed to be fun

since ive started buying all the bits to put on the car, my car has started falling to bits...........

gearbox is crunching on 1st and 5th
clutch needs replacing (they fitted a recon when i brought it, the bar stewerds)
front shocks have had it thus making me wonder if i should put standard ones on or go and buy some coil overs........... tein etc
and now i have an oil leak.......

ok so ive been told i need to replace the 4 cam oil seals and the 1 crank seal and might as well do the rocker cover gaskets while im there ohh and why not change the pulleys to some light weight ones as the standard ones have a tendency to crack..............
and also the tensioner should be replaced for precation........... dam this car
and even though i only brought a new cam belt last year i need a new one as mine is soaked in oil....
not good i know....

god im ranting now.....

ok so i need some advice on the pulleys?????????
do i replace just the cam pulleys or the crank pulley.... etc
what type of pulleys and what should i be looking to pay for them....#

oh i dont suppose anyone has an exploded diagram of an impreza gearbox do they..... if so could some one email me it TA

well if anyone has any advice or has had any expiriances of any of the above then please let me know what you did in the end and your views...

oh and before its suggested i have no plans on setting light to her......
well not yet anyways LOL

thanks everyone

Hi ,

You shouldn't need to replace the cam pulleys unless they are broken or you are looking for a power upgrade,.... no reason to change them just for the sake of it
