Default 1990 Subaru Legacy GT Manual Conversion

Heya,

first post id like to say a big hi !!! i enjoy reading the forums here they have a lot of useful info

now my forum ...

im a bit of a beginner at this stuff lol

i have a BC5 legacy gt ej20g with an auto i have bought a manual gearbox out of a gt wagon BG5 and extras to change it over

im nt 100% sure about the auto rear diff though wat ratio is it and what ratio do i need for it to be correct again ?

i have heard the standard lsd rs diff is 4.111

i worked on tit oday and found out that the rear diff from the auto is 4.444

the gearbox has 37 teeth on the front crown wheel in the diff so with help from API David it should be a 4.111 it has the same gears at the very rear of the gearbox so 1:1 for the front and rear diffs

my question is when i change to the 4.111 in the rear will i need to buy the speedo out of the car the 4.111 is from or can i use the speedo from the auto ?

i have everything i need to convert minus the rear diff
