Default flywheel cracked

my flywheel has got loads of hairline cracks on it will it be ok to be skimmed or does it need sticking in the scrap pile and my hand going in my shallow pocket for a new one?

Dig your hand in your pocket m8.It may sting for a while but not worth risking your flywheel shattering.I've got exactly the same issue at present and i'm not even going to consider skimming.

Its quite normal to find these surface fractures, more often than not the flywheel can be skimmed. A machining shop will advise you best
