hi all again
just bought the above its got 8 screws (3 either side) and 2 near the middle. is it easy enough to attempt this myself or shall i get it done at a garage???
i already have after market on but dont like it.

Fitted mine with a frined who has a garage and oversaw me doing it, it was a bugger to fit, and drilling holes in your pride and joy can be nerve racking.

make sure you seal it properly or it will leak

 

I bought one for my now long gone WRX but this was fitted by the supplier in no time at all so its not difficult. Its just the fear of miss drilling, scratching etc.
One thing i would make sure is the fixing screws are well sealed to prevent water ingress into the boot.

the one on now leaks so could not be fitted properly
roll on sat!!!!!!!
wonder how much garage would charge though???

 

Me and my son fitted mine, just had to make 2 of the original bootid holes a bit bigger with a drill as they didnt quiet line up, and then we drilled two more fresh holes in the middle of the boot to stop the spoiler rising in the middle.

i have no gasket or anything for it
so just gonna use silicone should be fine wi this i think..
just dreading to find whats underneath the one thats on now

 

dont use silicone i used it on my long gone my51 wrx and it run all down the back of the boot fitting was quite easy though
