Default Dash swap from New age to Classic

I saw some pictures somewhere recently of some foreigners fittign a new age dash to a classic impreza.

Has anyone done this and how easy is it ?

I'm looking at getting a digital dash eventually so the speedo is not a massive concern.

I'm more thinking, will it fit or will it be too long ?

Cheers
minty.

I think is was an American in a Type R. Look in Type R corner, I think it may have been there - try PM'ing him.

I doubt it will be a straight fit. Interested if anyone finds the link!
