I have a MY98 wagon and have sourced a 6point (kind of), Subaru rollcage.
Its got bolt-eyes for B-pillar seatbelt bolts.
I haven't mocked the cage in the car yet so unsure if the eyes will fit outside the trim or inside but anyway I need to remove the trim to fit it.
Does anyone have this kind of cage (it supposedly came offf a RA)?
Or anybody removed the trim?
I seem to remember (seen on a thread here) that on newage cars it's 'just' a matter of pulling on the edge of the trim, but on a classic?

yes just pull - the bottom edges slip under the kick plates on the sills so it is easiest if you remove them first.. screw driver under the square plastic clips etc.. it then just stretches around the rubber moulding etc on the b piller.. the seat belt slips between the slot in the bottom.
