TD04, TD05, IHI ?????
What's fitted to what MY, are UK, Jap and Aus specs different.

I thought I had a TD05 on my MY94 UK, but the You and Your Subaru Book states that the TD05 was only fitted to the Aus WRX ?

 

Not sure if there is a finite list for this as there are so many variations.
My MY95 WRX RA has a TD05, I believe this was the standard turbo on the early JDM cars for a while.

wrx93-96 use TD05
i have never seen an sti I or II did they make them ? check the FAQ site.

STI III TD05L ? NOT SURE
STI V VF23, some with VF24
22B vf23 BUT some in SA have been reported to have VF22
STI V,VI,P1 vf28
sti VII vf30

mainly i am sure i have missed few models.

What about UK 93-96 ?

As for STi I & II. I think the STi I is very rare as it was built by and at STi and not on the Subaru Production line.

I think the STi II was only available as an RA.

Both had 260ps as opposed to the 280BHP that all the dodgey ones are advertised in the UK with.

I'd be very suprised if there were any in the UK.

There is at least one STI 1 in the country - I own it ! Your right, it is pretty rare, and mine is the 5 door version, which makes it rarer ( allegedly only 100 made that year ). As for the turbo version, I couldn't tell you what make it was.
