Some woman in America ( where else ! ), on TV last night 900lbs! absolutely mammothonian!

I started watching with no sympathy whatsoever, i.e, it was all her own doing. As the program progressed, I felt a bit sorry for her, as she had the guts ( no pun intended ) to go through with the stomach bypass op, which she did, and then croaked it 2 weeks later from a heart attack....family and loved ones all very sad etc...

These tyes of programme usually leave me cold, but last night I realised it's not the person's fault, their thyroids, their insecurities, or the resulting comfort eating. It's not even the fact they only have one ****...

It's their families that continue to shovel junk food down their gizzards when they become bedridden, and wipe their ***** that are at fault. It's like they're saying hey, it's OK to be a fat ****. Hell, we'll help you get even fatter! It's the family, in sparing the dignity of the obese, kill them in the end.

It was a good watch, even if i had to laugh when she said "I'm not your average fat peron - I don't have a fat belly, my fat comes out the sides" (as if that was preferrable !).

64 stones at 29yrs old ! As you say, the black dude who was her carer (since she couldn't get out of bed) wasn't helping by filling her full of junk food because "she had a healthy appetite". Felt sorry for her wee daughter, articulate thoughtful lass, left without a mama at 14.

Kinda sad the way the western world is getting chubbier and chubbier - I've certainly seen a difference over the last decade - especially amongst young uns. So many "muffin tops" !

 

Did you see the bit where she said she had loads of interest from men? She always had a laptop on her "desk" infront of her, so perhaps this is where the interest came from.

Makes you think about the potential suitors, how?, why?, and I'll have a pint of what you're having

 

To my shame, I can remember watching a telly programme about bolkes that go on t'internet to find the "supersized" women that they crave. Ye-uuk !
They showed one who constantly fed his large bint more and more cos he wanted her to stay big !

Takes all sorts I s'ppose.

 

I think these types are referred to as 'feeders'.

Personally, my cut off point for a bird is size 28, or a BMI of over 90, whichever comes first

 

Where do you shop for togs in that size Chips ?

 

Yeah, she had a BMI of 128 - where 30 is "obese" !

2 million Americans over 40 stone (and we Brits aren't far behind per head !)

Didn't she also have an eight year old daughter? How could this possibly happen (from conceiving to delivering) 'cos she would have been quite, er, wide, even then??
