Im in the 60% part.

The snow affecting eastern Scotland and Northumbria will be more persistent and heavy leading to 10-20 cm accumulations on high ground

40% will do me. As I said before as long as Gatwick is open on the 9th, the weather can do whatever it wants.

Caribbean here I come. However they expect rain for the next 4 days lol Just my luck. Hopefully that will be it for the month.

Their site said that the other day, but 2 snow flakes means
Heavy snow shower (night)
Cloudy with heavy snow

So which to believe? The hover over text or the symbol..... Or just the Met Office.

Superb.!

We were hit with a tropical storm when we arrived in Florida last year. Amazing, got some great footage of it

Pain in the **** trying to adjust to driving in the USA when you cant see the roads, or hold the SUV in 1 lane.

If the storm front is the same as hit over here it could be interesting. We're currently having a lovely warm sunny day, only -13C at the moment, and with the windchill it's a balmy -24

I remember popping back a few years ago for Christmas and the papers had some big headline about it being very very cold at -7. We just laughed as that's a nice warm day in winter over here

I would quite like to see what would happen if the last big storm that hit us actually carried on at the same strength to the UK. We had 15 - 20 cm of snow over the course of a single day. I think the UK would completely shut down, as I know that a mere trace of snow sends people into a major panic

The weather sites are still all over the place for where I live (Crowborough), some say snow, others rain.

Met Office are meant to be THE daddies of weather, however...... lol

I tend to believe 12-24 hour forecasts more than 5 day

Severe weather warning :snigger: snot exactly cold out is it, you don't know what cold is in Britain. I haven't even brought any jumpers over with me from Germany.

The problem isn't so much keeping yourself on the road - it's that some nutter doing warp speed 4 on summer tyres might crash into you
