My cheapy Argos footpump has just packed up after 10 years of service. So what to get next?

I'm tempted by another, all I need it for is to keep my tyres at the right pressure, so it will have an easy life.

I had a 12V jobby before, but it was pants. However Halfords have this on offer at the moment - anybody got one?

I've the Halfrauds inflator, does what it says on the box... and you can set the max pressure in psi or bar... so it'll shut itself off when reached

 

I too have the halfords and I've had trouble with the lighter socket end not fitting properly, had to pull the contacts out for a better fit but the slightest wiggle on the lead and it shuts off.
The few of times I've used it, I've had to have a small child hold it in place.

But that was probably a friday afternoon version, it certainly pumps well enough!

 

What about another one from Argos .Its half price. I use one of these and its fine,i just use a quality guage to double check the pressures though.
