joined lol, not quite the same thing though, eve you fly the ships, set up the loadouts etc, set up space stations if you want, trade, mine, shoot do what ever you want.

to go from one side of the universe in it to the other takes about 3 days of constant travel

there can be only one

really isnt in the same league as the world of warcraft....and that is only 8 pound a month so you are getting ripped for a second rate mmorg

played that for 3 years and that really is more addictive than sniffing pamela andersons vaginal underwear secretions

im an ex wow player lol, and compared to wow its a huge improvement, all you do in wow is grind, kill this kill that, kill the other.

in eve you can fly into huge battles, set up your own companies, stations and take control of whole systems, then if you get bored of fighting, you can mine for a bit, or just transport stuff around.

i think it only got 80 per cent in a pc zone review so that is pretty poor

Lord of the rings online got 87 percent and that was pants

everquest and warcraft both got 95 per cent...nuff said

all mmorg are pretty much a grind to get what you want...that is their nature

pvp in warcraft is probably the best system out there

i stopped playing it 4 months ago but nothing comes remotely close it

get with the program son....next youll be telling me half life team fortress was a good online multiplayer

I played Eve - have had to take a few months out because of needing to have a life!

WoW is, imho, a dull, grinding game with a bunch of annoying people who use "l33t" speak, which has no where near the immersion of Eve.

As for PvP in WoW - don't make me laugh; you don't even lose anything if you die. Wheres the risk/reward in that!?

Thumbs up

I'm an ex wow player too and must admit it was and still is magnificent. One thing that hypnotized me was the music. Brilliant music score in each area. Ok its a grind but have to admit the best grind i done apart from banging the misses now and then

Everquest is a much better RPG than WoW, but the graphics are annoying and require a much better PC than WoW, it also requires twice as much effort to understand it and become good at it so it loses out in popularity to WoW.

WoW is just an easy action/rpg game that even 5yo kids can enjoy, thats why you have so many "idiots" on there, because they are 5yo kids.
