Modern valve amp set ups
Are there any decent, modern valve amp set ups that don't cost an arm and a leg?
My Bose Lifestyle 5 is due for retirement so want a nice replacement. I've seen the Fatman iTube Carbon Edition which looks great, but I don't know if I can get 2.1 out of it (do I even need to?). I haven't listened to it yet, either.
Ideally, it would be nice to have something that I can play my TV through (which I do all the time, I never use the built-in speaker), can plug a CD player, recevier and ipod into. Or even one that comes with everything built in. I'm not really interested in surround sound.
I've wanted a valve amp set-up since listening to a mate's set up (a pair of quads via ESL speakers streaming MP3 over wireless which sounded awesome)
Anyone got experience?

There isnt really any such thing as a decnt valve setup that doesnt cost a lot - the production costs, and lower sales figures for them mean that they are always expensive compared to solid state.
