Angry THE TRAFFORD CENTRE

last night i went to the chillfactor-e next to trafford centre,
its 6 miles from my house,
as we get to the M60 at worsely i see it is like a car park
so tried the A-roads, same thing
every road heading towards the F***IN trafford centre was gridlocked
we set off at 7.45pm to go 6miles to the chillfactor for 8.30pm
we actually got there at ???????

9.35PM
and there were people behind us in the queue who set off from chorley and st helens at 6.45pm and got there at 9.45pm

3 fookin hours !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!: cuckoo:
the chillfactor and JJB were empty , nobody could get anywhere near them::
the 8.30pm to 10pm slot was prebooked and paid for, so we ended up having 20minutes on the slope for £22
lots of people booked in at JJb would have lost there time slot

anyone thinking of going near the FOOKIN TRAFFORD CENTRE please be aware that you will be sat in traffic for hours!!!!!!!
and deserve this

they are actually expanding it aswell with "barton square"
something will have tobe done with traffic management

You've got to be slightly nuts to go anywhere near The Traffic Centre a week before Christmas!

Bit sad that the 'empty' chillfactor couldn't be a bit more understanding and give you some extra time or some money back to keep a decent customer.

5t.

If you want to go to the TC then the best way is to come off the M602 at Eccles and go over the draw bridge into Trafford Park. You are still going to hit the traffic on the car parks but will avoid the nightmare that is Barton Bridge. But I think the next 48 hrs is going to be a nightmare in the actual shops and not even worth going IMHO.

Oh, BTW before you leave click this link

Echo what billy says here, another alternative is to head to the city centre come off the Mancunian Way onto Chester Road, turn right onto Sir Matt Busby Way past Old Trafford, left onto Trafford Park Road/ Wharfside, over the 1st roundabout, 2nd exit off the next, come off the dual carriageway and turn right onto Barton Dock Road and you are there. 5-10 mins from the Manc way and hardly ever any traffic unless you are going between 5-6pm. All other times it's clear.

Or, don't bother at all and buy everything online.

I made the mistake of going there last night. I tried to leave the car park at 9pm and actually got back on the M60 (junction 9 I think) at 10:40

... because you know you can't drive and you didn't want to worsen the situation?
