Default front fogs don't wonk

I've just fitted some front fogs to my '03 sti. the wiring was already there for the fogs and the switch. The switch lights up but the fogs dont work. I looked in the fusebox but I couldn't see a missing fuse or relay?

any help appreciated!

There's a vertical line of slots for 5 mini relays alongside the fuse box by your right knee. On the MY04 car the middle slot is for the fogs, sure it's the same for all cars around this age. On my MY02 STi all the wiring was there but the relay slot was empty, plugged a relay in and it worked.

The relay slots can't be seen thro the keypad hole you need to remove the trim from the bottom of the dash behind and below the steering wheeel, 2 screws, one at each bottom corner and it pulls off from three or four clips along the top edge.

If there are relays there then put your finger on them and work the switch, you'll feel and hear one click in and out if it's the right one.

I've got a 2 page .pdf of the fog wiring for a MY04 car, if useful send your email address by pm and I'll attach it.

why? Is it particulaly foggy in Grimsby? Or is this so you can chav around in your car with fog lights on. If you're going to fit extra lights, then surely extra driving lights would be better?

It certainly can be. I've seen days when it's been pea-soup all day, but bright sunshine 5 miles inland

Don't disagree with the rest of your statement though
