My wife has a 98 Legacy, 72,000 miles. A few weeks ago I changed the trans fluid, pretty burnt. The next day the car would shift from 2nd to nothing untill it had warmed up by driving 4-6 miles. Had trans rebuilt to the tune of $2000, and same problem persists. Is there an electrical or computer control which may have something to do with this????? Of course this only happens on the coldest of days, when the temp is above 30 or so, it doesn't happen........Lot's of flack from my wife, I chose the tranny shop instead of the dealer who couldn't get to the car for 2 weeks, and wanted $3500 for the job!!!!!HELP!!!!!!!
