Gran Turismo 3 car list revealed

Although drastically reduced from Gran Turismo 2's overbearing 500-strong list, GT3's 130 cars more than make up for the shortfall in terms of power
Here it is: the list the car geeks of the world have been waiting for for the last year. These are the cars you'll get to drive around the gloriously realised tracks of Polyphony Digital's PlayStation 2 tour du force, Gran Turismo 3. Currently scheduled for release in Europe next March – although you'll be able to buy it on import next February - the driver is categorically the finest example of its genre in existence.

so what game do i play to keep me amused until the impending release?

i collected my spangly box on monday nite....got the PSW DVD out and saw the rolling demo of GT3....my jaw dropped....bugger..bugger...and double bugger!!...when does metal gear solid 2 come out?....
i brough the box and now have nothing to play onit!!

Also, no AMG's from Merc? bit sad.

If it's a licencing problem for both then do what they did for porsche and talk to other people, eg; Brabus, AC Schnitzer, Carlson, Hartage (3 series with M5 V8 is awesome car)

This is the game that I'm waiting for. It's is probably the only reason I've not yet got a PS2. Personal opinion was that unless GT3 was ready for PS2 launch then I'd not buy one. Silly I know, but hey, that's the kinda guy I am.
