Smile Slight crunch when putting it into 5ft gear

Hya,

I have a 1994 wrx import, my problem is when I put it in fifth gear it slightly crunches, all other gears are fine, could this be my clutch? I feel it slips a little when its in full motion.

Thanks alot mark

The box that was in my car when I bought it, was notchy going into fifth. Alyn at ASP dropped the oil and there was 3 or 4 teeth off presumably fifth came out with the oil.

Wouldn't think it would be your clutch TBH.

I'm on my third box now, including the one mentioned above.

Syncro cone.

Clutch problem wouldn’t be limited to one gear.
