Slight problem with the STI.
It will go up through the gears perfectly to 6th, but coming back down the gears from 5th into 4th is just a no go area,I dont want to force it into 4th. If I put it into 3rd and then to 4th it is fine.
There are no crunches between any of the gear changes
I am hoping that the problem lies in the linkage and nothing more serious.
Any body have a similar problem or help in any way ?

 

my guess is that the problem lies with in the selector.. but i may be wrong

 

I've checked all the nuts and they are all fine,all the nylon bushes seem OK as well. When the car is sitting parked and not running the same problem arises when I try to put it through the gears, but sometimes it will slip into 4th gear from 5th gear without a problem.
Any more suggestions welcome
