hi all, got a short shifter but the bearin that holds it in is the same size as the housin its meant to go into, its the right 1 for my car but cant see how it will go in, has any 1 done 1 before? The shifter for the later model look like it will fit straight in as its ball shaped on the bottom like my origional shick, some 1 please help, im totally stuck.

Once you have removed the cir clip its a tight fit but they do fit,
Only problem I find was you needed a aftermarket gearknob to fit the shifter.
