Unhappy Newage STI front air dams to a WRX

Hi,

I've purchased some brand new STI front air dams (the front bumper corner bits) to fit to my 04 WRX SL and picked them up from my local Subaru dealership today.

Lovely I thought, get home and go to fit the drivers side and hey presto it doesn't fit -the side air dams have 3 (from memory) little inserts that would clip into place on the bumper along with then screwing it into place underneath the bumper.

I then ring the dealership parts department and speak to another guy (who I didn't order them from) and he says that the STI front bumper is different to the WRX I've said I want a refund as this wasn't mentioned when I ordered them and told them it was for a WRX.

I've seen other WRX's with these fitted so my question would be how - holes drilled and filed so the inserts would then clip into place, cut off the inserts so its flush and then just screw it into the inner arch and underneath the bumper or the extreme of buying a standard STI bumper just to fit the side air dams Please help
