Default Quick Shift....

Hi All,

I am thinking of fitting a Quick Shift Gear System to MY55 STI.

I do not want to pay Subaru dealer price of £400!! Which would you say is the best make, best price??

How easy is it to fit? How much would you say a garage would charge?

Cheers for your comments

best one for newage sti is gfb rallynuts.com : GFB Short Shift Kit Subaru Impreza as ones on ebay don't do a lift reverse as is needed for the sti models with the gfb you can also set the throw distance to your own liking so very short or same as you have now so you can choose the best for you.
there very easy to fit watch link here HSPN TV - HD Videos on Demand - Powered by HSPN Networks, LLC but you don't have to go under the car to lock the reverse out as when i looked on my05 sti its different to the americans so doesn't need doing so very easy to change yourself

That looks good, but expensive at £154+vat? I thought the Perrin item was dear!
The EBay one looks to be the B&M which I had on my old 99MY Good, but not for the 6-speed.
Don't forget that by shortening the shift you are potentially making the synchromesh work harder!
