Can you advise when you are open / closed around christmas as I'm hoping to get across ( the sea ) for a 40K service and poss some other work...

Gosh!, Haven't thought about that yet really. looking at the calendar l suspect that we will be closed from lunchtime 21st to open again 08.30 - 2nd January.

Then closed all day Jan 1st.

It is sort of flexible, as any of the boys that have used up their year holiday allowance will have to work 27 / 28 / 31 . But that may not be the fitters it could be engine builders or head repairers or just about anyone. BUT not necessarily the Subaru staff.

Call a bit nearer the time and l'll be able to answer a bit clearer for you.
