Anyone got one? Haven't seen this before

QTP - QTEC Electric Cutout

 

Seen these on a few american cars, been thinking they would be perfect for a tunnel run, nice and quiet on the way in then flick a switch and

 

Seems like it gives good power gains,30bhp Doesnt show a price though

apexi use to do something like that i think. but how would you map your car to it? it is abit like a extreme of a exhaust bung

There's a kit for the VX Monaro that does that.

But for the cost, one could have a remap or a hotter cam imported from the US that would give a hell of alot more poke than modging about with the exhaust will ever do. Obviously I'm not talking about scoobs here, but the principal remains.
