Hi Guy's,

I have a 1999 STi TypeR Ver 5, And the back diff has stripped its teeth

2 Guys i know both have STi Diffs but one is a 4.1 and the others a 4.4 im sure they said.

Could anyone tell me offhand what diff is it i need as im not clued up on the diffrences, Just know it would damage the centre diff if i fit the wrong one?

And can anyone recomend what oil too run in the diff once i fit it too the car ?

kenny the typeR runs the R180 4.444 diff and the oil i use is castrol syntrax 75W90 but with your driving style you might want to look at redline heavy duty shockproof for the rear diff
