Are you sure that's Km's not miles

I've owned 4 Imprezas (2 Jap & 2 UK) The best I've ever got of a tank is 250 miles

he didnt say it was in a Scooby and we all know its impossible unless hes on the back of a tow truck for 100miles +
tank holds about 10 gallons divide by 400 gives 40mpg possible on a test bed but not on the normal roads

Last week I travelled down to Glasgow from Inverness and back again, I filled up first thing in the morning and set off. 9hrs and 375miles later I was back in Inverness on the orange light I reckon with about another 20 miles left in the tank. Average speed 65-75 and 2500-3000rpm couldn't believe it normally get about 250 to a tank.

I can get about 350 miles out of a tank on mine on the motorway. So it goes to prove that subaru's can be economical.
But through the country roads by me i can empty a tank in about 50-60 miles

My wife borrowed mine a while back when it was running a VF24 and an aggressive map.
She managed to get 375 from a full tank to the amber light.

I managed 225 if I was lucky.

It's all about how you drive it.

It's definitely possible to get 400 miles out of a tank of fuel in a turbo Impreza - I've done it twice. You need to travel at a steady 60 mph with no stops, though. Possible, but not practical.

BTW, A UK classic Impreza's fuel tank is just over thirteen gallons, not ten. This makes it in the region of thirty-four mpg.

Thats what I thought - a 60 Litre tank ....... but I can only EVER get 42 - 43 Litres into the tank!! Even leaving it until after the light comes on.

I think I have a 45 Litre tank, which is 10 Gallons.

I get about 300 miles out of a tank, thats from 'click-off' on the pump nozzle to 'light-on' ...... which is around 40 Litres - 34mpg.

I was driving to Scotland so it made more sense to do 400 miles one tank rather than nearly two - which is closer to my normal economy.

As I said, possible but not practical.

most i'v managed to get in the tank was £55 of tesco 99 98p was very close to running out,got 305 miles and was very close to running out again,i know it's not good running on nearly empty btw ,i dont plan on letting it happen again
was driving on motorway to work and back around 100mph going there and 80 coming back, apart from the last 10 was about 50 .am not a morning person.
i'v not got the wrong car i just should of bought a cheep van for work instead of an exhaust and other bits,i dont like paying around £70 to work, thats including the weekend
