Default is my clutch on its way out???????

the last couple of times i bin out in my my52 sti bug
i have had a smell of burning clutch
both times i was driving it quite quick but not thrashin the nuts off it

when i came to rest i could smell clutch
the pedal is quite high but not at the top i would say a its about 3 quarters of the way up intil it bites

any help on this and any ideas on cost and what replacement to go for

exedy?
api?

could it have been your brakes if driving hard???????????????????

Brakes and cluches when 'used' smell the same as said!

If it doesn't slip or judder when hot then prob ok as it is.

The Exedy clutch is good so is the AP.
My AP has tolerated just 160 drag starts and 7000 road miles in 3 years with 370 x 350 engine and racing slicks.

doesnt slip mate or judder when hot and pulls well through all 6 gears

ap sounds like a good one
