It seems to have become far more ugly since the initial pictures of it broke cover.

Doesn't look as good as the original pics I saw, but hey at least it looks better than the new Impreza.

Apparently the new engine (which bit I don't know) is not as strong as the VI to IX so there will be limited tuning possibilities at least initially.

Sounds good. I'm surprised they've stuck to 2.0 litres. I expect it'll cost a bomb too.

Always been a huge fan of the Evo but the back is terrible... and what is with the DSG gear box? Hope it still comes in manual for those who like to drive...

Have to say, looks great from the font. As mean as ever.

It does come with a 5 sp manual. I'd be interested to see what the sales ratio of auto to manuals is.

I think the Mitsu management/engineers have been hit with the same affliction as the Suburu ones.

They've taken a successful formula, made it softer, more ugly and completely changed the ethos of the car.

I really don't understand it. Any more than I would if Ford decided to take their betselling Focus and make it a 3 wheeler.

As an Evo 9 owner I like all the new stuff if the gearbox and engine are strong enough to tune easily to 400+ BHP, and if the ECU is not a nightmare to crack. With the extra weight 300 BHP in an Evo 10 will be a bit boring compared to 400 BHP in an Evo 9 which they do so easily.

I would love longer service intervals, better refinement/toys.

However, I suspect the new Skyline GTR would be more my thing - I want a semi-auto box though, and ideally 6+ cylinder turbo, adjustable dampers etc.

£33k with the DSG box.
Not that impressed with the car now.
The more technology that goes in, steals the drive from the driver.

Seems to be low on power given that the gentleman's agreement has long been torn up. Why only 280bhp?

The more technology that goes in, steals the drive from the driver.????????????

Nah, Don't think so, both hands on the wheel, ready to fully catch the back end at higher speeds (safer, more controlled drifts) plus far more steering feed back, right foot always on the throttle + left foot always over the brake pedal, easier form of "heel and toeing (and we all know that this is a far faster way of driving)". Plus ni on instant gear changes saving 0.4 sec per gear change, Let the car do the sh*t stuff while you focus more on driving on the limits, everything above makes you go faster and takes you more too the edge, perfect the above and and the rush you get from driving like this will out weigh the slower and less advanced way by quiet a margin. Time to move on or get left behind.

God its horrible. I'm and ex TME owner and love EVO's but this is plug. The new STI looks a lot better and a lot more agressive.
