Tonight I took mt 2006 spec-c out for a blast and it was wet out I went into a empty carpark and did abit of a power slide nothing too major. Anyway since then 2nd gear seems to be abit crunchy not too bad now but still not as smooth as it was before.

What do you guys think is this pretty normal for sti boxes as I had a evo before this and it was quite notchy

 

Not sure if its a common problem, but i also have the same issue with 2nd gear on my 2003 STi. I suppose it could be a synchro problem but could be worth doing a gearbox oil change.

I'm planning an oil change this weekend to see if it makes any difference.
