Default Question about MY02WRX

Hello all

I have a 2002 WRX, I have a bit of a problem

Basically, I can drive the car for ages with no probs at normal driving pace. If I then go to "rag" it, it does not come on boost properly and the car seems alow slower, however if I continue to "rag" it after a few trys it will eventually go properly. Could this be a problem with the spark plugs? maybe they need to be warmed up properly before it will go properly if they are old plugs? (I havnt changed them since Ive had the car)

All replies appreciated

Thank you

Probably not the plugs mate. If the warming-up theory was right it could be anything. Try cleaning your boost solenoid. Check that the wastegate is not stuck open. Look and listen for air leaks before the turbo. Do a search for "no boost".
